Dear valued BidBird member, Over the past few weeks we have been approached and have had it brought to our attention that a BidBird.com user/s has asked for permission to post auctions for birds/chicks/eggs that are not even yet on U.S. soil. Although allowing such auctions would be a fantastic traffic generator to BidBird auctions, we have made the decision not to allow such auctions on BidBird and have had to institute new policy. The new policies will affect very, very few of BidBirds auctions but we feel it is a necessary policy to institute. In order to list an auction for birds/chicks/eggs on BidBird.com the user must: 1) Be in possession of the intended auction birds or the parent stock if selling chicks or eggs. 2) If using pictures for the purpose of selling birds/chicks/eggs, the pictures must be those of either the parent stock if selling chicks, or of the birds themselves, but in either case must not be pictures borrowed from other breeders of stock that is not on the users premise. We feel that the new policies will only serve to enhance the overall experience at BidBird auctions while protecting our members interests as well as to protect our integrity.
